Dr. Julie is Certified by the Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics and is an expert in caring for pregnant mamas and new born babies. Along with having 4 boys of her own, she has cared for countless more in her years as a chiropractor. Along with her certification by the Council, she is also certified in the Webster Technique. The Webster Technique helps bring balance to your pelvis, and although it has a reputation for being a breech-turning technique, we don’t physically turn babies. Your baby will naturally move to where there is more space when your body is in alignment.

Step 1
Connect with us either by calling 231-922-0110, or by using this form, to get your complimentary Discovery call with one of our doctors scheduled. On this call, we will find out if our office is the right place for you. If not, we will help direct you to a better spot for your unique situation.
Step 2
An initial visit in our office includes a thorough understanding on what your unique situation is. An initial visit will include a nerve system scan and palpation of your spine. At this visit, if appropriate, we will adjust you and get you on your way to an easier pregnancy and birth. If you have a significant other, we would love to have them join for this visit, so they can ask questions. Having both of you informed makes for less stress.
Step 3
Following the examination, we will share a specific plan of how to best support you through your pregnancy and the birth of your baby. We collaborate with several birth providers and support people in the community. As we get to know you, we may recommend another professional to help you get the most out of care at our office.

I started under their care when I was 12 weeks pregnant with my first, in 2018. The care and attention I received was better than I could have imagined. I struggled with some different aches and pains during pregnancy and Dr. Julie used the Webster Technique to release it. I looked forward to getting adjusted every week! We took our daughter to be adjusted when she was just 3 days old, and she has been going ever since! Performance Chiropractic supported me as I went through postpartum and it’s struggles as well as nursing issues.
I had a 4 hour labor and birth with my second daughter and a quick recovery. I believe a lot of that was because of the excellent care I received from Dr. Julie!
